Bart and Jamie, hosts at 't Rooth
Two people who decided in 2021 that it could be done differently: smaller, quieter and with real attention for the guest.
We were new to the world of campers and camping when we started 't Rooth in the summer of 2021. What we did know was how it feels to be warmly welcomed somewhere. That feeling is what we wanted to pass on.
We deliberately kept it small. Eighteen pitches on level grass, plenty of room between the campers and facilities that are simply in order. We live on the grounds ourselves, so there is always someone around for a chat or a tip.
In 2022 campers voted us Camper Location of the Year, with an average of 4.96 out of 5 on Campercontact. Every positive review felt like a compliment in itself. For us it mostly means the approach is right: attention works.
